Emelogu is not TBD. He may be more inconsistent scoring the ball than we would like, but this is his 3rd season playing with us. We know what we are getting with him.

I will agree with your Top 25 / Top 60 comment though.

Pre-season rankings are ridiculous. At this point no one knows what the rankings are
or where the Mustangs will ultimately be ranked. As long as we are day dreaming
let me say that the Mustangs will end the season ranked 1st in the nation and NCAA champ.
Go Ponies. So I'm ridiculous, but I would love to see it happen.

So many moving parts here.

The good:
A solid core with a proven system.
A bench!
An OOC schedule that gives the youngsters awhile to mesh AND exposure to some really big games.
Yeah...no Aussies. No doughnut eaters. Lots of potential in the frosh class...and opportunity to show it.
JM in the wings...practicing daily with he team, learning the system.

The bad:
We’re short on bigs again and our biggest big is a question mark.

The ugly:
Hey.... its SMU we’re talking about.

My prediction: There will be a basketball season. Win some, lose some.
Party at The Wopper!
