Given the restrictions I think we are done for this cycle once we get these two signed and sealed.
But that doesn’t mean recruiting ceases. It never does.

Btw: it seems the Aggies are making a late run at Hunt. Hand the guy a friggin’ pen please!

Harry Froling was a 4 star. Don't look at stars.

We need Feron. It's between us and A&M and he signs Thursday morning at Desoto HS

Harry Froling was downgraded to a 3 star recruit. https://247sports.com/Player/Harry-Frol ... ool-161988

I understand people's points, but higher starred players typically do better than lower starred players--not sure how anyone can argue this point without smirking. I have faith that Jank will get more out of the talent that he is given than any of our competitors.

If Jank can be like Mark Few or Gregg Marshall we will always do well no matter the star classification of our players.

I'd be curious to know your source on that statement given SMU's recent history.

Towel Boy, Froling: Over-rated

Shake, Jarrey: steals!

I do agree with your statement on Jank and have no problem with him shopping the bargain bin from time to time. Having a all of our scholarships back will actually allow us to chase both high rated guys and look for the bargains.

Ben Moore and Sterling Brown were 3 stars too

Looking at offer lists might be an indicator to some degree. Both Sterling and Ben had good offer lists.

I agree with that sentiments but top 100 picks rarely don't have a large offer list.

This is a 2014 article, but it discusses the topic.

I was hoping A$M went down with all the basketball scandals. I still believe something shady went down with the 2015 class. I can't believe how much Texas A&M has squandered their talented roster.

Not talking about the size of the offer list but the quality of the offers. Both Sterling and Ben had P5 offers. Not saying this is a 100% indicator but just something to notice.

What do you think he tells a kid about SMU?

If he's honest, it would be that "SMU has a better program in an actual city with plenty of entertainment, better looking girls, a better education, a packed house 95% of the games, exposure on ESPN consistently. But hey, we play Kentucky twice a year and our fans don't boo, they hiss. And if cheerleaders aren't your thing, A&M is the spot for you."
