Four teams for AAC is certainly more respect than we have had in the past. Obviously having Wichita plays a big part in that. Will be interesting to see what happens with these projections as our conference season rolls around and some of our top teams lose to one another. In the end, if we get four teams in that's a step in the right direction, even though a case for 5 or 6 can certainly be made this year.

For us specifically, that Arizona win is going to end up being a monster feather in our cap that no one else in our conference will have anything comparable to - neutral site win vs what will likely end up being a top 10 team.

Of course right after I say that, checking in on bi-polar Temple and they are getting waxed at Georgia. Not good, but pretty much Temple's MO (never seen a team run more hot and cold from night to night).

Lol no worries. We’re in growth mode so it’s going to have bumps. I’m hoping WSU, Cincy, us and Houston make it through with like UCONN, Temple or UCF going to the NIT.

I'm bullish on this team. I think we will play ourselves into a 7 or 8 seed before all is said and done.

Haslemetrics has us as a 9 seed. I think that’s where we end up, and that’s a good thing.

I said at the start of the season we're an at-large as either a No. 9 or No. 10. I think we're on that track still, and I'm leaning towards a No. 9 now that McMurray is everything we thought he'd be.

9 would be a great spot for us. Not have to play an elite team first round and then if we win, get a chance to take down a 1 seed and finally make some noise. And if we lose it doesn't appear embarrassing.

NEVER a good thing to play in the 8/9 game knowing if you win, your reward is to play a top seed. I'd like to be a 12 seed playing against a 5. Win and you get a 4. That's the best path to the Sweet 16 if you can't earn a high seed.

At this point you can't think past the first game. Winning a single tournament game would be huge even if it means getting bounced the next game.
