Also, two big games for Maxey and South Garland next week - 12/15 Little Elm (RJ Hampton) vs. South Garland at South Garland. 12/16 South Garland vs. Sunrise Christian at Lancaster HS. That 12/16 game is a tournament and I believe DeSoto plays that same day there.

Just looked at the Texas HS playoff results and saw that South Garland lost in OT in the semis to Katy Tompkins. Maxey had 46 points (14-of-25 from the field and 14-16 FT) and only 2 TOs playing head-to-head against OU commit guard Jamal Bieniemy (25 points)

He played an amazing game.

Also, Coach Cal was in today to do an in-home with Tyrese. UK is full-court pressing Maxey.

If Maxey family hosted the coach for a BBQ, then one would think Papa was there as well, right? Hopefully keeping SMU in the mix.

Not sure he can keep SMU in the mix when Kentucky is probably offering more than his salary to his son

I wonder whether Coaches might be more wary of offering an illegal inducement when the recruit's father works at another NCAA school?

He could pull a Dickerson/A&M move and accept a bunch of cash then come on to SMU.
