Buckets were not falling, but I like his motor and footwork on defense.

I am going to bet this class is far better than people were giving it credit for. Time will tell.

It is a pleasure watching him play defense.

His effort/motor is outstanding. Really fun to watch. You can see his confidence, he really wants to attack offensively.. I think we are going to see a lot from him as the season goes along...

I was told preseason that the staff loves his potential and he was great on D, which will earn him court time under Jank. Love his D and motor, glad someone started a thread on this. He needs to develop his jumper and smaller guards usually have a tough first year adjusting to the size and increased speed of college hoops on the offensive end.

He looks like he could play some DB if he needed to. Listed at 6 & 180. Looks 5-10 & 190.

A crowd favorite in the making. Just wait until he slams one.

He caused a few turnovers yesterday. He is eventually going to get a big slam that will blow the roof off

He has good energy on defense, but his height will limit his ceiling on the defensive end of the floor. Remember that guard from Berkeley that was shooting over Nic Moore all night during the NIT to nearly beat us?

Always been a good ball defender, but he has a HUGE team D learning curve.

Seeing him get lost in transition and switching on the pick n roll (in a defense that is fundamentally based on switching quickly and playing team D) gives me anxiety. When he's on his man he's a good defender though, so hopefully it's just reps. Which I am sure it is for a true freshman.
