Now that I think about it, there have been pretty good crowds at Westcott with free admission this year. Maybe we go with that?

Playing chicken with the donations - anybody that does that is a fool.
Or blinded by the deep love they have for the athletic department that has done such a wonderful job the last 30 years.

Other than that one fact I don't care what they do. They've already converted me from a $7,000 donor to $1,000 one so it won't make much difference

Here's some hocus-pocus math.

These are all approximate.
135 loge
385 red
135 floor
Totaling 655 quality seats down low that everybody is scurrying for minus the bench seats.

While I'm no mathematical genius I have to figure that the average ticket holder probably has 3 season tickets
655 รท 3 =218 @ 2.5 = 262

My current rank it is somewhere around 1079. (845 points) I'll be the guy handing out towels in the restroom.

That's what I'm saying it's hopeless lmao!
I was 700ish when I got the seats originally. Also that was when the donations Trumped the points, I also had season tickets for about 8 years in a row think I missed one year - so I guess payback's a [deleted].

Do you want to go tomorrow night with your wife bus? I can forward to your email gratis

The way they organize it now is that someone with no previous tickets or points can jump the line by making a big donation. Points are only considered only within the donation level. So no matter how low my cumulative number, I'm only as worthy as my most recent donation.

I understand they have to incentivize big new money coming in the door, but surely some smart person can come up with a hybrid approach. I certainly don't know the solution.

Season tickets from 1988 Cornerstone package. Raised hundreds of thousands of dollars as Team Lead for M-club for decades. GO TO GAMES.

Richard comment.

Get the money and don't show up - That is fine with the management.

Right except for there's no seats and therein lies the shift.

The second year I had floor seats mysteriously a row came behind mine which made them less valuable.
Then they took the Varsity Club and turned it into a high roller section - they still don't want to sit up there haha

I'll get pushed out of my seats and buy the ones down in the red for $49 on the stub and eat all the pie I can in the Miller Club.

They kinda did.

For the re-seat, only existing season ticket holders get to play. No one new gets a shot at supplanting an existing sth.

Amongst existing sth, highest donations get first pick starting at whatever the top is.. And yes points within your category break those ties.

Donations going forward will definitely help..but you'll also get credit (points) for your previous gifts. That said, you could also as a previous/current 1000 donor just move up to 1500 and leapfrog the other 1000ers.

Doea that mean someone who is an existing sth can leapfrog w a bigger donation? Yep but not someone not already in the building.

Oh thank God I went with the $501 rather than just $500 - Dutch is a genius!

I was wondering what they consider a "bigger" donation. I seriously thought about increasing my donation by $1 as well. But now that the secret is out I better do $2.

That is what they said 4 years ago. So after two years of... being in the house... (their term for inclusion) and woeful seats... no re seat.
So, i dropped.

Do you really trust this? If so, Go Mustang.

Y'all know you can just walk on down and sit in whatever section you want for most of the games, right?
