What is shows about one and done's is that having exactly one of that type of player isn't enough to be an elite college basketball team. You either need to have multiple players like that and good coaching (Kentucky) or you need to have them surrounded by other very high end talent (Duke). The thing that is annoying about the one and done's is there are a bunch that are just good college players because their game in incomplete and/or they are inexperienced. These guys would have had opportunities to become Great college players if they stayed in college. I'd love to see how great of a college player a guy like Mo Bamba stayed in school. Under the current system (and likely futur system) we never will which is disappointing.

Trae Young even though he was a highly rated recruit I don't think would have had a chance of getting drafted straight out of high school. There has only been 2 short guards (less than 6'5) ever drafted straight out of high school and they were both second rounders and more highly rated coming out of high school than Trey. He played his way into being a one and done by showing his range and his ability to get and make his shot against bigger and more athletic players. That said I also think it's a bit premature to call him the second coming of Curry or Kyrie or anything like that. But some NBA team in the lottery will take him just in case he is.

Hopefully they're better at blowing a lead than we are.

Whoa! The give away a nice lead and then Desmond Bane drills a three with no time left to send it to OT.

Dammit. I didn't even realize this game was on and now I'm super invested.

That game didn't matter much. Both KSU and TCU should be locks for the tourney. It's all those 8-10 teams in the Big XII that should be sweating things

obviously that visit to Moody helped prepare UMBC for the moment. At least Vermont gets to go to the NIT as a reward for their regular season America East title

I guess SMU should be crowned mythical PAC12 Tournament Champs since we beat both Arizona and USC who are in the finals
