It took about 4 minutes for Cincy to erase that lead-now up 7 with 8 minutes to go

Cincy obviously wasn't "siked" about playing Memphis and had to step it up in that 2nd half to pull that game out, not unlike their game against our guys yesterday.

Meanwhile, the CBS announcers are putting the kiss of death on Cincy calling them a potential Final Four team (sound familiar?) The fact is that Cincy is just not shooting well right now. Hope they get it together by dance time or they could be this year's disappointment for the AAC. Seems like a long time since UConn brought some pride to this conference's bball reputation.

Not the Missouri Valley Conference Shockers

Houston actually had better record against AAC competition-so 3rd place is a nice finish

Cincy and Houston are the two best defensive teams in our conference (after UCF lost Tacko Fall) and refs are letting them play physically, so I'm not surprised to see Cincy vs Houston in finals. All 3 should represent the AAC well in tourney play...hopefully they all at least win 1st round games

Ref’s didn’t really allow it today as Houston had 2 guys foul out with about 3:30 minutes left. Houston was fortunate to get a no call on gray’s steal to take the lead and that WSU couldn’t execute on the last possession. That said Houston has had a great year and I’m glad the conference will send 3 good teams to the tournament. They are going to miss gray a lot next year.

Yea, I'm watching with a minimum level of interest. Mostly to see how both teams look going into the big dance.
