4 guys in double figures: Gu and Shake with 12, Whitt with 11 and Ray with 10 and still 9 minutes to play. Plenty of time for Foster or Chargois to join them if they get hot

Gu with 12 points and 9 boards has a chance to join Ray with another double/double tonight

Mustangs have 23 FGs and 21 assists. Coach Brown would be proud. That is really sharing the ball

IT talked about it and how important it is to our players. Just wait until Cincy and WSU come to Moody!

Gu with 13 points and 10 boards. Have we EVER had 2 guys roll double/doubles in the same game? I certainly don't remember it happening

It’s easy to see that Ray is going to be a really good player for us. Love his motor and nose for the ball.

Definetly see some potential there. Glad to see him flash when given the opportunity when Ethan got in foul trouble.

I felt this was a great show for going into Atlantis. It felt less sloppy compare to the last games. It feels different from last year where we actually have a bench. I hope these guys are ready to take it UNI!

This was the first game this season where offensive rebounding wasn't a problem.

Ray was the reason for that. He has length and strength and goes hard after the ball. Is going to be a phenomenal rebounder for us.

When Ethan came in during the second half, we immediately gave up a couple of offensive boards. One he didn't go high enough for. The other he was out at the top of the key, but Ray was hustling back to cover from that spot and Ethan stayed out.

Ray also showed to the ball well, and passed quickly.

Would not be surprised to see those guys switch and Ethan off the bench at some point. Especially if we get hurt on the glass in one of the upcoming tough games.

Ball movement was fantastic. Nice to see that we can blow up the zone just as well as we did under Larry.

Last year, the team had to be so concerned about foul trouble, it sucked the energy out of the team and out of the building in the first half. Really nice to have that defensive intensity back. It is a lot of fun to watch. The defense was a big unknown coming into the season, but having 4 productive frosh and a legit defense will allow us to challenge for the league again.

Ethan has a longer wing stand which magnifies the extra inch he has of Ray. Ethan will get more minutes because we need to have a shot blocker in there against better guards. Team will be fine on the boards once Akoy is back.

Another thing I noticed is how Douglas defends the three. He understands positioning and how to close out effectively on the shooter. He did this several times tonight.
