I love Jank! Such great adjustments. We gotta do whatever we have to to keep him for rest of his career. My hope is that he loves Dallas and wants to finish his career here.

If he stays and does what he is capable of he will have the floor named after him and a statue outside next to the Mustangs.

This game should show that SMU can compete with anyone in the country. Arizona was so tall and athletic, but we had a plan to take them down.

Remember this time last year, we entered our dark days, losses to USC and Boise St. followed by an ugly UGLY! win against Cal St. Bakersfield, a game that finished with both teams around the 40 point mark.

Then SMU went something like 23-1 after that.

This team looks good. We are ahead of the curve from last year. Hell, lets go out and repeat as conference champs. When you beat those beasts that Arizona threw at us, we can take anyone down!

Hard to win 30 & be underrated but @CoachJankSMU lost 3 pros & has young team & beats Arizona. Great coach.

Even when things aren't great, Jank is so damn positive. I think that optimistic leadership goes a long way in building trust with the guys and they play their hearts out for him. Even against UNI, no quit whatsoever.

All of that plus his calm demeanor. We don't get rattled.

Really good execution using small ball to pull UA big guys out. So glad he is SMU coach. We spent some time before a football game with him and he seems to love the area and the school. I told him "I hope you don't leave for a big program" and he said no reason to leave, this place has everything!!

Jank simply out-coached Miller by a mile last night.And imagine if Shake and Foster had just an average night from the field-we would have won going away.

I kept wondering why Arizona didn't go over our Defense with Lob City. They had about a 4-5 inch height advantage. Great pressure on the entry pass
