So far of the people who have renewed, 45% have increased their donation at an average of $2200 each. Something like 1.25 million new money raised

There is no questioning SMUs ability to raise money, that’s for sure.

The question, as you said earlier, is what is the longer term effect on this program if you roll out a team like we did today while [deleted] off your most loyal fans.

It's called risking chasing off the 1500 if the product ever returns to the level it was before LB

I would be interested to hear the median increase not the average. If you are super loaded and want red seats and two people raise from $10,000 to $30,000 that skews the $2,200 each increase when likely 2/3 have increased $500, if at all and not even half have renewed yet.

I have no doubt SMU will get more money out of the reseat just because of what they want for red seats and loge seats. That's why they're doing this -- to get the high rollers out of the blues and into the best seats.
The real question is how many blue seat loyalists will throw up their hands and walk away. Not much of a financial impact, but something we will all notice on a random weeknight in December when we're playing a directional school and there's only 2500-3000 people in Moody.

Four years of excellence to be sure. Representative of the program as a whole, however, it’s not.

My wife and I spent the afternoon planning our trip to Ireland in Aug. with the money that we are saving by not renewing either bball or fball season tickets.

Cheers

Where are you going in Ireland? Great time of the year to go. Wise use of funds!
