cal Poly might be the smallest crowd in years at New moody. I am going to Boise and Bowl game - but hard to pull three nights in a row of SMU sports. Am guessing there are others in same boat.

I used to get as worked up as anyone about attendance, late arriving crowds, red seats half full, students/MOB involvement and the steady decline in gametime production. Unfortunately, caring about the ‘small’ stuff with SMU Athletics will only drive you crazy. Moody is a special place and our program is really strong. For that we should all be grateful, but you have to let the other stuff go.

OOC and holiday crowds are of no concern. If you look at big programs they have empty student sections and other seats for these types of games. Once students return and conference play picks up, Moody will be rockin.

Holiday crowds are always smaller.
I was still impressed there were as many students as there were last night considering it was the last day of finals.

This year's Basketball schedule has been/will be a beating because of about 4 unusual tip-offs and/or dates. Back-to-back? Really?. New Year's Eve at Nite? Etc.

The back-to-back that doesn’t involve a tournament is almost unheard of in college basketball except for the Ivy League which plays back-to-backs on Friday-Saturday during conference play fairly often.

I can handle a schedule beating. It's those beatings on the court that I dislike.

Not next week, but I'm looking for 4 tickets to the UCF game if anyone has them. I split season tickets but don't have that game.

Seems to be a staple of Jank scheduling. He explained last year that he does it to mimic tourney play. Gives them a little experience with how to prepare.

New Year's Eve is ridiculous. That idea needs to go and never come back.

Have not a single [deleted] to give for the amount of crowd that shows up for these holiday games against middling opposition. We will improve attendance for these games over the year but it really doesn’t matter right now. I want a win and I want the team to take a step towards stability and consistency and away from playing up or down to the opposition.

Cal Poly will be especially low after Boise beats us tonight to break the streak.

Really? You think THIS is the team that will end the streak?

They barely beat Dumpster Fire UTEP. Only quality win they have is courtesy a mid-court buzzer beater three vs. a very average Oregon team.

Line opened at SMU -7.5 and grew to SMU -8.5

I sure hope you are wrong.

They beat a 30-win SMU team last year.
