At the end of the day, he basically is still a freshman, he is getting freshmen like minutes.

True Ethan got an opportunity and stepped up. There was certainly hope Froling would as well but he didn't, most freshmen are not so great their first year.

Just think of how frustrated Harry would have been if he stayed at SMU and Ethan had taken his minutes during his Soph season. Time to move on and just hope Harry finds some place, whether at Marquette or elsewhere that will help him reach his potential because he wants to play professionally and has a long ways to go to get to that level.

Seems like every 2 out of 3 from Oklahoma are.

That Young fellow isn’t bad.

Pringles gets 8 minutes in a 30 point blowout of Seton Hall.
Zero for five from the field, 2 rebounds, 2 assists.

Not many minutes! He got his misses in there quickly.

Interesting he can't earn any minutes there. He must still be poor on D and as a rebounder when he is in better shape. Chargois is drastically better than he is. Harry still has 2 years left to develop into a decent player, but his early career has been underwhelming.

Agree 100%. Leave the kid alone.

Why not add something positive? Froling played 19 minutes in Marquette's 18 point win at home against DePaul and had 6 points on 3 of 4 shooting, added 9 rebounds, 2 assists and a blocked shot. Nothing wrong with hoping the kid finds success. We have followed other former SMU players like Sed and Keith and it hasn't been all negative. He just might become a key player for them as an upperclassman. Who knows what he might have become had he stuck it out at SMU?

Yup.

As Joe Friday said: “Just the facts ma’am.”

Frankly speaking, if he’d slimmed down and shaped up but stayed here he’d probably be getting more minutes than he’s getting at Marquette.

The thread is worth it for the nick name alone. I chuckle every time I hear the word Pringles. Some things are just funny.
