Nothing wrong with hoping the kid finds success. We have followed other former SMU players like Sed and Keith and it hasn't been all negative. He just might become a key player for them as an upperclassman. Who knows what he might have become had he stuck it out at SMU?
Yup.
As Joe Friday said: “Just the facts ma’am.”
Frankly speaking, if he’d slimmed down and shaped up but stayed here he’d probably be getting more minutes than he’s getting at Marquette.
No doubt. He would be more effective than Akoy this season and probably could have worked out a niche of 16-20 minutes a game here as an upperclassmen.

Pringles started today vs Villanova. Did pretty well:
Marquette: The 6-foot-11 Froling made his first start of the year at center after the transfer from SMU gained eligibility at midseason. He had 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting. ... Rowsey picked up his third foul of the game with 1:21 in the first half. ... Howard did not score in the second half, finishing 5 of 18 from the field and 3 of 8 from the 3-point line.

Its been all downhill since that Villanova game
Scoreless in last 32+ minutes of playing time-2 points in last 41+ minutes of playing time. That's close to invisible. The Australian Nowitzki is hitting a sizzlin' .125 of his 3 point shots
