Is this the last year for scholarship reductions under our NCAA probation? Or do we have another year to go? I can't remember. Thanks

We are still living under them. Next season is the last with the restrictions, which is why we have to limit ourselves to 11 scholarship players next year. 2019 class is when we can finally use all 13 scholarships

Any chance we can appeal for early relief? Syracuse infractions were much worse and theirs were reduced. I know the answer would probably be because we are SMU, that's why, but don't we have a bulldog law school alum who can argue a case for us?

So, if Shake declares next year and there's no other attrition, we should have one spot left to give:

Guards (3): Whitt, McMurray, Landrum

Wings (4): Mike, Foster, Douglas, Hunt

Post (3): Chargois, Agau, Ray

I imagine we'll target a transfer or grad transfer in the spring.

@HubbaHubba we did. We lost.

@ECM Yep. Still looking to add one more to the class, since Shake is almost certainly gone. I hope it ends up being a transfer too. We are really good at recruiting the transfer market and transfers success here is only making us more successful. Something I hope we never abandon. Would love to get 1-2 transfers every year.

Assuming Young is a scholarship player, ECM, we are full

Right? Aren't we forgetting Jahmar Young?
