odd season stat: Jimmy Whitt is hitting 60% of his FG, has not taken a three but is hitting less than 50% of his FTs. He has been terrific, though and is among our leading rebounders, is 2nd to only Shake in assists and leads the team in steals

I was genuinely shocked when he missed that 1 mid range jumper last night even though it wasn't a good shot.

I seem to remember a former NBA guard shooting jump shot FTs...might have been Wali Jones for the 76ers? Have to be an old timer to remember

The Free Throw Line is outside Whitt's range-love what he does to get good shots and long arms on defense though

In most cases, that's absolutely right. But Whitt's shooting mechanics are among the strangest I've ever seen.
