Thanks for sharing skyscraper.

That was the very first NBA vs ABA game.

I’m actually in that video. I’m in the lower bowl with my sister.

I have many fond memories of the Chaps at Moody. I was friends with the Chaps organist Miss Inez who also played dinner music on her baby grand piano at Luby's Cafeteria on Hillcrest. She received 2 tickets per game which she would leave for me at will call if I wanted to see a game. Since I was housed in McElvaney for 3 years it was an easy block to walk for a game. I really thought the old ABA was great with the 3 point line, red/white/blue ball and scores generally exceeding 125 per team. Dr. J, Iceman, Pat Reilly and Rick Barry were among the visiting players. 15 inch afro haricuts were the norm. Great memories.

Hey Pocono - you forgot to name one of the most important ABA players of that day who
played at Moody against the Chaps - Larry Brown was a pesky defensive player and an
aggressive point guard that I used to watch. He wasn't new to Moody when he came here
as coach and I know he appreciated the renovated new Moody.
