McMurry still plays too excited. Gutty performance from shake considering how long he was struggling.

The final score doesn’t tell the story. I am super relieved we won the game. This game was just as important as the Wichita State game because a loss today would have eviscerated the signature win. Win and move on to keep building the tournament resume.

Hope there is more crowd involvement when the students get back. Crowd sounded totally dead on TV.

Your stud is struggling to score, the team is ice cold, Foster is out, a little hang over from the WSU win and SMU still beats a descent Tulane team. I will take it

A more confident crew would have called that stuff. It almost got out of hand.

Whitt played great and was steady the entire game. Agau played his best game and Gu was solid (was a monster on the boards). Shake stepped up in the clutch and we won a game we really HAD to win. Guys made FTs and did a better job than Tulane of protecting the ball. I agree with comments that the crowd was pretty passive, at least early. As Jank has said, our home crowd is SO important because the team draws energy from the crowd. Ready for the students to return!

Agree that the crowd was way too passive. Even in the closing minutes it seemed like the crowd was a non-factor. I couldn’t tell what attendance was like on tv but we really need the students back to help create a hostile environment.

Tulane is a good team and played good D...did a good job trying to take Shake out of the game but how about the D from Whitt and Gu tonight? Whitt with 5 steals and Gu with 3 including one at crunch time.

Shake must have looked at his finger at 100 times-he's done it before but tonite it was every possession-has to be something wrong with it. No baskets in first half and 18 points in 2nd half though

I am glad someone else sees this...tonight was not the only night I have seen his hand/ finger massage,etc....I can’t tell if there is an injury or just some sort of nervous tic...

I think it is just something Shake does. I have seen him do it a lot including last year. Didn’t he injure a finger last year and wear a little sleeve on one?

Agree. Student involvement has been the worst. Not sure why we can't have a real student section this deep in January. I will never forget the first year back at Moody. That's when the students were actually aggressive with their noise level.
