Coming off an enormous upset against Wichita State, Saturday night, Revenge game against conference opponent, no college football on TV, no pro football on TV, what's the deal with all of the empty seats tonight?

I thought the crowd was fine. Probably 90% full ten minutes into the game. Also, thought the crowd did a good job picking the guys up at key points during the game.

Agree, thought the crowd was good and much more lively even though the students weren't back.

I'll take your word for it but the crowd appeared to be silent on tv. The main thing is that the attendance was good and more importantly we won the game!

It did seem quiet on TV but during their post game interview both Whitt and Agau said the crowd was good and helped them.

I think SMU is about the only school in Texas that is not back in session

Building was pretty full, so not sure what you're seeing. Crowd made noise when it needed to. ECU next Sunday is the first game with classes in session.

many of these games are being announced remotely from ESPN-see the Wichita St game--they've cut back on expenses and you can tell difference if you know what to look for. I was at the game so not sure about tonite-although I think I saw an official explain a call to someone at the TV announcers usual spot

Tonight's broadcasters were on site as they interviewed Shake in the broadcast table with the announcers next to him after the game.

There were times when my ears ring from the noise so I think it was at least average.

Strange thread. Best crowd we’ve had since USC.

I agree with all of you that said the crowd was good. It was not the greatest crowd because
of our academic schedule, but the crowd did get into it especially when Whitt stole the
ball on four straight occasions and again when Agau hit the tipin and when Shake came
out of his first half funk.

One of the best crowds was sitting right in front of me. We had 16 football recruits
in the stands, unfortunately they had to leave with about 5 minutes left so they didn't
get to see the final victory. I introduced myself to Sonny Dykes and was impressed with
his friendliness. He seemed to really enjoy the game.
