I had no idea about Ray.... that’s awful.

Jarrey is my favorite player and a huge loss to the team.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers to both players. Bummed for us as fans, but more so for each of them.

I pray that Jarrey has a full recovery. He must be devastated to be injured when he was playing so well. Jarrey is one of the good guys and has the talent and drive to play pro. I hope he fully recovers and can enjoy a pro career.

It just occurred to me that we’ve pobably seen our last Shake to Jarrey lob.

I just hope Jarrey is ready to go when next season tips off. We’re about 9.5 months away...

Takes the pressure off the team at least. Go out and play and do your best.

Shake, Whitt, Gu, McMurray, Ethan still isn't bad. Agau off the bench isn't bad. Ray hurts, but we were going small anyway. Focus on getting Douglas and Eli quality minutes so that they can be contributors by the time the tourney comes around.

Huge blow losing Jarrey for the season....hope he has a successful surgery and full recovery for next season and kills it with a senior year. I thought there must be more wrong with Ray with him getting no minutes as of late.

At the Tulane game it was weird not even seeing him on the bench after his injury. I guess now it must have been because he went to the hospital or something.

On air they said he was sitting behind the team.

Down to 8 scholarship players. The annual depth deficiency just gets so tiresome. If we ever get a full compliment of players, we might actually be taken seriously in March. Just frustrating.

Kind of funny that H Froling and Sed Barefield would be getting more minutes (and perhaps not coming off the bench) had they stuck it out at SMU vs. where they are now (Sed came off bench to score 14 the other night though).

But they wanted more playing time up against three future NBAers. No patience at all.

Jarrey was on bench next to Mike. Ray was on the bike next to the bench to start the game, we assumed to continue to loosen the ankle he had sprained in practice before the Wichita game. After a few minutes on the bike, he limped off to the locker room with Warren and never came back out.

Nope. Don't miss either of them though. Neither of them are great fits. Barefield actually plays a ton (28 mins game) at Utah. He plays no D, doesn't rebound and shoots 10 times a game averaging 10PPG on 34% from the field and 27% from 3. Good FT shooter though. He was actually better last year. Pass.

Froling would be helpful right now from a depth perspective, but he is a poor mans Chargois. Even in better shape he has been pretty underwhelming at Marquette. I think he will end up being a decent player, but doesn't make me miss him that much. Akoy gave us more last game than Froling ever did and that is Akoy still being like 60-70%.
