It seems like Jank wanted the guards to penetrate more tonight before just hucking threes. Gu did it the first three possessions, Whitt, McMurray and Landrum all worked into the lane a lot. Our percentage in there wasn’t great but we got more free throws than usual and more points in the paint as well.

It’s not a slight. “Bad” was in quotes and the announcers explained that it wasn’t a bad loss at all because we were full strength then.
