If we wake up tomorrow to learn the city government has disbanded and anarchy has taken hold, I will only be marginally surprised.

And both fanbases were in the house for both games. Just wow...

Well, we are having a fight with the Mayor and City Manager which is pretty ugly, even by Texas standards. It's like two 7 year olds fighting over who is in charge. And Cronin tossed Cumberland under the bus for fouling out.

That’s why we’re doing a reseat!

That graphic actually makes the rest of their statistics/projections much less trustworthy... who the hell thought that was a good idea?

This graphic is a curse.

Did anyone ask Cronin why he did not take Cumberland out when he got his 4th relatively early?

I think that the reason he didn't pull Cumberland was because he realized that he was being outcoached pretty badly during the last 12 minutes of the game and leaving Cumberland in was about his last option to try to keep Nevada from getting closer. It backfired badly on him obviously. This is going to be tough one for Cinci and Cronin to recover from.

If there's one thing I don't actually blame Cronin for, it's not pulling out Cumberland. Sure, there's no question it backfired this time, but I think coaches often waste a lot of potential playing time for their starters by being too conservative will "foul trouble". Very [deleted] to put it all on Cumberland; that's just how the game goes. Plenty of blame to go around after a choke job like that though, I guess.

Cincinnati will remember this one for years. I am sure it was very [deleted] Cronin.

Their only consolation:
1) Xavier also blew a lead (and a better seed) than Cincinnati on the same day.
2) It's only the second worst collapse in tournament history.

Yeah, they'll remember this for a while...

Reading through the uc fan site someone posted that they should get rid of Cronin and hire Ollie.

Can't believe it but SMU only dropped to No. 65 in Sagarin despite 17-16 record-how is that possible?

And let's not forget USC got a one seed in the NIT but struggled to beat UNC-Asheville in Los Angeles in OT. Really is a down year for the PAC-12

but according to crazy Bill Walton its the, "LEAGUE OF CHAMPIONS"!!!!

So weird. USC is hosting W Kentucky in the NIT and the PA announcer at USC’s arena keeps announcing W Kentucky buckets with the same or more enthusiasm as the USC buckets. And Walton is insane but entertaining. It’s all so LA.
