The National Basketball Association announced that 236 players – 181 players from colleges and post-graduate institutions and 55 international players – have filed as early entry candidates for the 2018 NBA Draft presented by State Farm. Of course, there are also some Seniors too

They are really fighting for about 30 spots-60 including 2nd round. Its crazy. Why not change the NCAA rules and allow players the option of returning to College if they don't get drafted.

Wouldn't we have 500 early entry candidates every year then?

Probably - and a vast majority would settle for post second round, international, etc. I doubt they would test the waters and return to amateur status.

I talked to Gu on Sunday when he was flying out for his workout with the Warriors yesterday. Gu predicted Shake to go 33 FWIW. I didn't realize that was Mavs at the time. Would be cool if that worked out.

Some of final mock drafts:
ESPN/DraftExpress has Shake going #48 to T'Wolves
The Athletic has Shake going #39 to Lakers
SI has Shake going #41 to Magic

I have seen him linked to the Lakers in a lot of mocks.

Of course, every team lies at this time of year, so who knows how interested they are.

I assume Shake would be the key to convincing LeBron James and Paul George to head to L.A.!
