Starting to look that way. Have now missed on Archie, Liddell, Edwards and now Wendell Mitchell this cycle. All 4 were top priorities.

Sure would be a good time for Maxey to commit. I know he's 2019, but something positive is badly needed right now for this staff...

What does it say about Jank and his staff that even kids who've been to campus multiple times can't get signed?
It wasn't too long ago people were signing on the dotted line after just one taste of Moody Magic. Yikes.

A players coach who can’t recruit...then why do we have a players coach?

What's the back story on Likekele? I know he got his release from Fresno due to the coaching change, but why was his recruitment mostly non-Pac 12 west coast schools?

He is a late bloomer. I am a big fan of Likekele. He isn't instant impact like Mitchell, but he is a winner who plays hard. Here is a snip it from National Scout Eric Bossi on Likekele from July this summer:

"I didn't know a ton about Isaac Likekele before I got to Dallas this week. I'd seen him before and thought he was a tough kid who had some versatility to his game. What I didn't realize is just how tough he really is and how hot his competitive fire burns. In fact, the standout for YGC36 is as competitive a kid as I've seen in the class of 2018 and we need more who play the game like he does.

A strong bodied kid who doesn't have the typical long and wiry basketball frame, Likekele is one of those guys who just seems to make those around him better."

Likekele is a top level defender, good rebounding guard, who has a real solid frame. He averaged 19PPG, 9RPG, 6APG at Timberview this season and he led them to 5A state title his Junior Year. We need more guys like him. He isn't the answer for missing on Mitchell, but he would be a solid add.

Great info - thanks for sharing. Sounds like a pretty nice consolation prize to Mitchell, something that the staff desperately needs right now.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm pretty excited about paying a lot more money to see a much inferior product on the court next year. #stoked #letswastesomemoney #shumateera

This is for Junior... I will point out that Schumate has taken SMU to as many NCAA tournaments as both Larry Brown and Tim Jankovich. And he has the same number of Ws to show for it.

Maybe they should have took the 12 Grand I offered for the single empty floor seat in the second row. Offers still available - I was there when nobody wanted to be I'd do it again. Long live the 220

Wonder if something else is going on with the Players and Jank - Georgetown quits, Sed, the australians, and reportedly current frosh are leaving, all of our players leave early for the NBA, and losing out on recruits now.
