Would fill the PG need. Deciding to not allow a student into the university sounds like something we would do though...

Seems like a perfect fit for both parties. Jank needs to close.

But what he doesn’t have is a ton of minutes to give right away. This is a great match for the good guys. We need this win.

Something doesn't smell good - we don't need another distraction and/or findings that lead to additional loss of scholarships. https://www.insidenu.com/2018/5/25/1739 ... basketball

There is a very low chance that he wouldn't be admitted at SMU since he was committed to Northwestern for about a year. Generally schools like Stanford and Northwestern are going to have their own standards 200-300 SAT points above NCAA minimums on the sliding scale--the only possible problem would likely involve if messed up one of the 16 core requirements. They wouldn't have strung him along so long if he was a borderline NCAA qualifier. Those schools have much higher requirements for athletes than SMU even had during the Pye Penalty

Our guys didn’t just roll off the potato truck. I’m sure the reason is known to those who need to know.
No need to speculate. I’m sure he’ll be vetted.

I read on a Northwestern blog that it has nothing to do with academics. They suggest it is a personal matter of some sort.

This rollercoaster of a cycle could end with a homerun. Lathon’s skill set is exactly what this roster needs. Make it happen.
