Reading the article about him, he sounds like a pretty good player. What is the situation why he took so long to get to us? Are there other issues?

We had to beat out Little Rock. Took some time to seal the deal.

DITR? Like Memphis Doug, may take time to adjust to the college game but hopefully both will work out and will prove to have been worth the offers.

Or we were trying to get other PG, those options fell through and we took the backup backup backup plan.

The first option was to beg people playing in the Dedman Center to play PG. After that didn't work out, CJ White was identified.

Hey its my fault...I should know by now that I shouldn't expect answers to my questions that make any sense. Sorry.

He is well thought of here. I am still wondering what the story is to his lack of interest even from small Arkansas schools.

I am guessing he may have done as I did when I was being recruited and told his coach or whoever handles him, that he only wanted to speak with upper D1 schools and to screen the others and perhaps he was not at the level he thought he was.

Regardless I still think he can turn out to be a good asset to the team. The nice thing is that time will tell if that is true.

Inconsistency. Just look at his stats in AAU. He would go for 13pts and hit 3 3-pointers against a real high level team and then next two games combine for 5 points. He did something like that several times. Seems to be the type of player that is pretty good at a lot but not real good at much. Has good size but is a middle of the road athlete. Douglas is a superior prospect, but similar to Douglas he needs time to develop.

Has a good shot when it’s on, but consistency is his major issue.
