There might be something to these stories about Feron Hunt's atheticism: finished an alley-oop, then comes in from corner to slam a rebound on a missed jumper.

56-44

I know it's first game and all and we have a bunch of new pieces that have never played in games all together before (and I'm loving what I'm seeing out of Dixon) but we should be beating this team by at least 30 (and I know NW St is not as bad as last year). But damn, it's a little sloppy out there.

Pretty ugly game... I get a lot of new faces but just didn’t look very good.

I was very impressed with Jimmy Whitt and his newfound confidence shooting. I also liked what I saw from Nat Dixon. Feron Hunt was ok given it was his college debut. I'm hoping Ethan Chargois was slightly off tonight and has a better showing the next game. I know Jahmal McMurray was off tonight and I'm not concerned because that is what he is, an on/off shooter that is a go to player when he is on and just deal with the times he it not. I was very disappointed with Isiaha Mike as I really expected him to be more assertive. I was hoping William Douglas would be more assertive too. We need one of the too to step up and take over games at times if we want this team to go anywhere this season.

Dixon may be the most solid player on the team-strong in all phases of the game. Hardly made any mistakes tonite. He played within himself and I sense that once he gets settled in he could be a team leader. Great pickup

Disappointed though that despite getting outstanding shots in the last 30 minutes we shot only 25% from the 3 point line. They had the right idea in the last 30 minutes just couldn't make a shot. Should have been a 25+ point win by just hitting some wide open 3s

credit to the training staff-no fatties on the team at all. I'm not sure I've seen a player drop as much weight as Chargois has in one off-season-that's got to help him. Saw a little bit about how dangerous Feron Hunt can be on the break-he should be able to beat his man down the court all year and its great to have an athletic 6-8 kid leading and finishing on the break which he excelled at in high school
