From SMUMustangs.com:

Foster And McMurray Selected Preseason All-American Athletic Conference

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (SMU) --- SMU senior guards Jarrey Foster and Jahmal McMurray averaged 13.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks last season in 19 games. He helped the Mustangs to a 13-6 start, including wins over No. 2 Arizona and No. 14 USC before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the victory at No. 7 Wichita State. In three seasons, the Mustangs are 67-16 with Foster on the floor. As a sophomore, he helped SMU win the 2017 AAC regular season championship and tournament title en route to the NCAA Tournament. Foster, who was also selected preseason All-AAC by Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook, is the only scholarship player on the Mustangs' roster that has more than one year of playing experience in the program.

Last season, Jahmal McMurray averaged 14.7 points and 2.7 rebounds while hitting 40.8 percent on three-pointers (62-152). He played the final 22 games of the season, debuting with 16 points in the home-win over Boise State on Dec. 18. McMurray had 16 points, 3 assists and 2 steals in 31 minutes in the win at No. 7 Wichita State on Jan. 17, and later scored a career-high 33 points, including an SMU record nine made three-pointers, versus Memphis on Feb. 14.

The Mustangs open the season hosting Northwestern State at Moody Coliseum on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.

Full list is below...

Seriously, the first team is all guards??? McDuffie second team is a joke, he got messed over with all the guard selection. Whitt will work his way in there if he really did develop a 3 point shot.

Interesting that UCF and SMU are the only teams with multiple selections, but yet UCF is picked to finish first and SMU 7th. I think our "supporting cast" of Mike, Whitt, and Chargois is pretty darn good to warrant a 7th place finish.
