I was trying find something positive. Regroup was one of the few things that came to mind. I knew when the team did not blowout Northwestern State that this year might not go in the direction Coach Jank was hoping for. But we’ll see.

Sadly, I'm thinking it's time for a coaching search... thoughts on Pitino?

I would take Pitino if we did not retain Jank. But let’s see how this year plays out.

Time for Melatonin Jank to go. He’s already sucked the energy out of our schedule, our recruiting, and any successful system that Larry installed.

Jank is like Brick from Anchorman...and our season and program have now become Anchorman 3, the one where Brick becomes a motivational speaker. Yes...the future is dark.

Just found out the score. I’m actually glad they lost.

My reasoning?, I’m concerned RGT & our AD might share the same lackadaisical wishy-washy approach as too many of our posters.

SMU needs to fall so flat on their faces this year that there is no doubt about Jank.

Give Jank a chance???? BS. He’s had ample chances and has repeatedly struck out. Today was simply a byproduct of his many failures.

You have a team comprised mostly of 300+ nationally ranked players, if they are even ranked at all, with zero P5 offers and you run the risk of losing to even the lousy teams.

This has all the makings of a very Doh-like season.

God bless Doh, but at least he tried. I never for one second thought he was mailing it in. He didn't have the answers, but he did what he could. I don't feel the same way about Jank at the moment.

What's a "WCU"? Seriously I have no idea what school or team you could possibly be talking about.

Hire him today. Put him in charge now so he can salvage recruiting and he can say goodbye after the season to several players. He can bring in some transfers from quality programs. We'll get plenty of ESPN coverage because of him. We'll suck next year but a lot less than with most anybody else we could hire and then we will be ready to kick [deleted] the following season. He is dirty and a piece of sh$t but the ongoing Fed case just proves most everyone is dirty including the d$ck at Duke. Let's play the game like everyone else............

I think it's about the same thing as "USC-Upstate". Probably a similar crowd in Moody as well.

I would take Rick Pitino in a second but I have zero confidence we would go after him given how things ended at UL.

I don’t know enough about other coaches in the basketball arena and maybe there is a good coach over Pitino but I know that hiring him know would shake things up. I wish we kept Larry but that ship has sailed. Rick on a 1-2 year contract with option periods afterwards doesn’t sound bad to me. I would hope he take it for a redemption job. To others point, it would cause newsworthy coverage like Larry did. It might make Moody Magic a thing again. It’s dead now so I would be willing to go to the dark side to revive Moody... just saying.
