Several factors have contributed to the regression, I’m not going to restate them here...

But I will say, I had one of the “unlimited” tickets that kept “winning” with the team and that in combination with good friends who shared my passion for SMU basketball and heavy pregame drinking highly elevated the atmosphere of “new Moody”.

There’s a lot that can be done via coaching and recruiting, but the administration COMPLETELY KILLED THE ATMOSPHERE.

Do they care if you went to SMU? No. do they care if you go to every game? No. How much did you give them is this only stat that matters.

but lost around 500 season ticket accounts doing so

You heard 500? I heard over 1,100 season seats lost.

Based on the official attendances announced so far it has to be well over 1000.

but RGT and hart are happy screwing the once loyal alums to get a few extra bucks. Then they wonder why the alums' don't have a positive attitude when asked to contribute money.

500 accounts and the seats are closer to 2K I believe.

That still is a really shocking number. In the neighborhood of 15-20 percent of your loyal fans gone for a quick buck. Sad.

Heard something else interesting this weekend - nobody really seems to know the net dollars benefit the re-seat gave SMU

Does anyone know if the actual amount has been represented to anyone from the AD or Admin? Not like back of the napkin stuff on here but like an SMU official saying "hey the re-seat netted us X additional dollars for x number of years".
