I'd take him. He did quite well at ISU.

For those that can't get past Larry Brown being gone, just how many of his recruits (not transfers) graduated?

I know they showed pictures of both Sterling and Ben graduating from SMU. And that was his first true freshman class. On a side note Keith also graduated from UNT. I believe Shake graduated or is about to graduate and Jarrey is about to graduate or has graduated.

Hoiberg is going to have many opportunities - will take a big chunk of cash for him and even that likely won't be enough to draw him here. Already being mentioned as Alford replacement at UCLA...

I'm not sure he's the right guy anyway as the criticism on him previously (despite his success) was his distaste for recruiting.

Maybe the dutch league would be a better fit given some of his interests...

Isn't Greek associated with multiple partners at once? If so maybe he wants to take things up another level.

I see a lot of back door plays in his future..... and maybe some come from behind victories.

Hire Pitino. Final Four in 3 years time. We can't waste time

Having Cornell in town tomorrow night really reinforces the fact in recent history we have only been nationally relevant under Dave Bliss and Larry Brown.

Why is that? Every team plays some mediocre teams in their non-conference schedule. The issue is that we have too many irrelevant teams on our non-conference schedule and not any top 25-40 teams. I don't have a problem with playing Cornell. The problem is the combination of teams on our schedule.

I meant that the first thing anybody thinks about when they hear Cornell is Dave Bliss, and that if we want to be in the national conversation we have proven we are what we are and we have to push the boundaries and have a coach like Pitino.

Otherwise we are destined to a constant mediocre existence under coaches like Shumate, Dement, Doh, Jank, etc.
