Surely the coaches will be stingy with Jarrey Foster's minutes.
Has played 6 minutes so far.

Dixon fouled while hitting layup — heading to FT line after timeout.

More importantly, he came up limping (has a sleeve on right knee).

No longer limping coming out of the break. Missed FT.

27-19 — SMU

Spacing on the floor on offense looks good. Creates room for players to move the ball and take the ball to the basket. Looking good tonight! Pony up!

McMurray and Chargois with game-high 8 points each.

Lamar's Jordan Hunter has 3 fouls; Jimmy Whitt has 2 for SMU.

It's early — very early — but Foster's impact on his return might be as much about leadership and passing and defense as it is about points and rebounds.

Chargois loses the ball off the dribble. Whistle stops play, but when the ball is bouncing across the floor, the first player to dive after it: Jarrey Foster.

This is Lamar not Gonzaga. Might want to tap the breaks on taking too much from this game.

Most visible difference with Foster back in the lineup is much better passing by the team. Ponies entered game averaging 12.5 assists per game — they have 12 with a minute left in first half.

Good observations PonyPride! SMU is looking really good tonight. Playing much more unselfish. Playing reasonably together on defense. The effort is there tonight. Very much appreciated. Jank is doing a good job of managing Jarray's minutes. Looks like there is a good rotation of players. Who is coaching tonight? Oh, that is right.. Jank. That is right. Jank. The same coach people have been ripping on the past couple of weeks. Adding Jarray to team has been truly invaluable tonight. Jarray is the leader that we have been missing this season. Jarray underdstands how to run Jank's offense. Jarray understands the importance of spacing and ball movement. Yes we are playing Lamar. I would much rather play a tougher schedule too, but the reality is that we can only play the teams on our schedule. We are taking care of business tonight.

We are playing a horrendous team and will be exposed by TCU and our conference mates.

Congrats on beating a Division 4 team
