Charleston Pony wrote:triple double for Whitt with 12 pts, 10 boards and 10 assists although he did commit a turnover (3 steals to offset that TO). Another solid performance against inferior competition

First triple by a Mustang since ........ Jeryl Sasser (in 1999).

It will be really weird to see another Sasser (Jeryl's nephew) on the court at Moody next year when Houston comes to town...

Jeryl has an older brother, Jason, who played at Texas Tech and later in the NBA.

Positive on Game Presentation: They went back to the larger, cleaner font on the scoreboard making it much easier to read from a distance. Need to do same thing at Ford. I'm not the only one that approved of this-as several others agreed

I agree - did anyone else notice that the “scores” from other games was from the Tuesday night games?

Mike coming around is huge. Whitt-McMurray-Foster-Mike-Chargios, Mike has to be a scoring threat to be effective. Moving the ball much better is a very good sign. Dixon and Hunt off the bench playing major minutes in the rotation, while White, Young, and Douglas are used sparingly. They are showing signs that the offense could make this team pretty competitive in the AAC as long as they stay healthy and continue the improvement.

The next part is defense. We need to hold Oral Roberts and Colgate in the 60s and TCU and Georgetown in the 70s. If the offense continues to improve, we should be running at 80 points per game. Tomorrow should be 80-60 if we play well.

Yes, it’s great to see the team come together. We’ve got a solid core.

Looking forward to tomorrow afternoon’s game. Will be watching from Austin on Wednesday
