2019 Mustang Club Renewal Invoice

I received my invoice for the 2019 commitment to the Mustang Club. I intend to contact the ticket office to let them know that I will not be renewing at my 2018 rate. I was one that upgraded my seats and commitment by $3,000 in 2018. I was greatly disappointed with the out of conference schedule and quite frankly, cannot justify spending that much in 2019. While I feel that the commitment should be to athletics in general and my decision will impact others, I also have other obligations that in 2019 will take priority, particularly since the product on the floor was disappointing.

More importantly, I don't think this team will be better in 2019 because as many have mentioned here before, our top 5 players may be sufficient, but we have nothing in 6,7,8 and 9.

I will still attend games and will buy my tickets through Stub hub or others on here.

I'm curious if others feel the same?

If I were you, I would wait and see who the next basketball coach is. Football will definitely be worth renewing for, just not sure about the basketball side.

I totally agree - I renewed football seats at the level necessary to retain my football seats (plus purchased my seats) and waiting to see if we fire Jankovich - if we do I am renewing my basketball tickets at the same level if not, i will just buy whatever my football level will allow me to purchase -

More people need to stub hub those red seats in the front row for $20.

You can uber back and forth to Ozonas
For $2 more than parking too, Valet to your car (smirk).

You and your Neighborhood can sit anywhere in Ford, then complain about the guy that actually paid for his seats cheering in front of you.

The one guy I know who had two red seats last year said he'd get tix off StubHub this year whenever he wanted. Instead, I don't believe he's been to any games. He attended nearly all of them last year.

Yep and Jank is going nowhere, don't let the delusional apologist convince you otherwise.

I’m not renewing mine at the same rate. People say in my old seats for the first time today.

I played the game last year and lost. Seats are 7 rows higher than "my" old seats with no one sitting in the rows in front of me. I've missed more games this year than the combined last 15 years.
The reason I'm not renewing isn't because of Jank....I've sat thru plenty of lonely sad games in the past. I'm not renewing because of how they handled the reseat and rewarded me for never missing a Paul Quinn game.

Unfortunately, I'm on the fence about football too. If I don't renew those, I'lll go via stubhub, but SMU made me realize I'd rather spend and donate my money elsewhere.

Another entrant for "why SMU will always be dependent upon a dozen old white guys to sustain its athletic existence."
