I never thought I would see an SMU team lose by more than 50 points. And this only 3 years away from us crushing all opposition. I think I will turn off the TV and go see a good movie.

what gets me is that not that long ago Jason said we were a PG away from being competitive. He also said CJ can be an important part of this team.

Have to give C.J. White credit. He might be Southland Conference level talent but he's playing hard and now has 7 points and 5 boards. Memphis Doug still appears afraid of his shadow.

Leave Jank on the tarmac. Dumpster fires are more cohesive.

If you're Johnny Dawkins, why are any of your starters not in street clothes by now? I get it, you have to play someone. But imagine if Fall or Allen rolled an ankle or something.

Because the NET rules necessitate winning by as much as possible.

Bill Douglas on the other hand...is so, so, so, so not suited to play at this level.

Whitt with 1 assist and 1 turnover today, but still has better than a 3:1 assist:turnover ration for the season...the best EVER in the history of SMU hoops. Little nick never did much better than 2:1 and Shake was 2.5:1 one season. Will be interesting to see how Whitt finishes the season considering how hopeless things obviously are at this point.

I have long thought that whether or not it is deserved, Jank will survive because of sanctions, not practicing 5 on 5, Jarrey's injury, etc., and for the record, I still think he'll survive. But this game is reminiscent of the Boise State game that sealed Dement's fate. I don't think it will change the result, but it very well could make it a more intense decision for Hart, Miller and whoever else is involved in the process.
