Out rebounded 56-30 today. Hunt's meaningless three prevents a 50 point loss, but the 47 point margin still reigns as the largest margin of defeat in SMU basketball history

Not a single guy in double figures today and as bad a game as he had, Whitt was still our leading rebounder with 7 boards. McBlunt goes 3-17 from the field. Dixon 1-9. Team 17-69. Really impressive effort today!

Yep, when McBlunt is off like he was today, this team is in deep doo doo.
Charg and Mike with 4 rebounds between them didn't help.

jank blamed a lot of the loss on cold shooting and inability to defend tacko bc we don’t have anyone tall enough. I seem to remember throttling tacko and ucf in years past without having 7 footers. Laughable

SMU basketball sucks again. And I don't think we get better any time soon. At least not as long Jank is still on the payroll. He would rather lose with an excuse than win to prove his excuses to be a fallacy.
I'm done for the year. I'm done supporting this until they make a change.

Exactly! We've not had a guy anywhere near Tacko's size in years. Don't remember him playing against Moreira who would have still spotted him 8 inches.

battling cousins...Bamba would have schooled him early but Tacko has gotten stronger and has improved more than Bamba did over his career.

Just looked it up: Bamba Fall is now 32 (how is that possible?) and playing professionally for TLÜ/Kalev in Tallinn, Estonia.

Got UCF after a close loss at Cinci and a tourney bid on the line. However, SMU had just dominated UConn inside but had no answer to a team with a real inside presence.
