Maybe he has had some conversations concerning his future and he is promoting himself for an assistant position.

Reminds me of when Shumate was coaching and he came by the fraternity house during a chapter meeting to promote the team, but was wearing a Notre Dame tie

Beyond the treason of our coach wearing another school's logo in public, maybe our Nike contract is written in a way this might give us a reason to fire with cause and not owe a buyout!

I like the way you are thinking here - if Rick could pull that off I think he would be back in the good graces of many...

I think that just goes in the "bad look" department along with scheduling crap teams in OOC, limiting media access, continually whining about sanctions, practice limitations and injuries, blowing off recruits, ignoring the student body etc, etc.

The true malpractice comes in the signed recruit department, the ability to coach his recruits up, his poor game management and his every increasing poor use of hair coloring products.

Agree but that has no chance of holding any water in "for cause". If UConn can try to pull it with Ollie though, I say we go for it on "JankKU-gate"

This is so soft. I'm sorry that the coach of your Alma Mater can't be bothered to not wear other school's apparel in public and that it offends you people don't like that.

He's a millionaire, he's a big boy. He deserves all of this.

Remind me, did The Godfather ever wear anything but SMU gear?

Has any of the coaches in any other sport worn other schools gear?

It's bad enough to have our students wearing gear from other universities at games, but a head coach of a revenue sport is sad.

Kind of like wearing Baylor gear with a teddy bear and a lei.

If he saw nothing wrong with it, it's even sadder.
