Interesting post game. At the 21-22 minute mark, Jank talks about McMurray coming into a situation where there were "firings". Was that a reference to Coach Brown and in Jank's mind was Larry "fired"?
He clearly was miffed at that last question about his job status, but I do think it was pretty tacky for the reporter to ask in that moment.

I am sure the firings were in reference to the USF staff.

Yup...that's how I understood it. But the guy talks in circles so it can get confusing.

That answer is embarrassing for Jank and the university. It’s a legit question and was asked in the nicest way possible.
Jank can only mock the kid asking while dismissing the idea of the question?
Pathetic.
If any media outlets actually covered SMU, they’d rip Jank to shreds for that.

It's been fun. Pony up, pony out.

Look on the bright side, at least you got to witness 2 good years. That’s 2 more than the new Pom Moms will be able to say.

New Pom Moms? Stab me in the heart why don't you.

Ha. You can’t be replaced

Another great semifinal!

Wichita State up 32-29 on Cincinnati at the half.

The four teams today are so good. We are toast.

I don't love the question, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was inappropriate.

Jank could have handled the question better, but not the end of the world.

Look the relationship between Jank and that crew is just as bad as it was the last three years between June and Scout. And I am sure there are valid reasons for that relationship on both sides. But the reason for the snippy answer had as much to do with who asked it as it did with the question itself.

It would be nice if the AAC tourney would be better attended crowds are very sparse.
