Out at Arkansas. A little surprised with the youthful team he had but a new AD wants to put his own stamp
On the program.

Nolan coached at Tulsa for five years prior to Arkansas.
Two time conference coach of the year. Won two regular season and two conference tournaments.
Tulsa is a great regional fit with Arkansas.

Anderson was hired at Alabama-Birmingham for the 2002-03 season and led the program to three NCAA Tournaments in four seasons. In 2004, UAB upset No. 1 seed Kentucky to advance to the Sweet 16.
Anderson was hired at Missouri in 2007 and spent five seasons with the Tigers. He led Missouri to three NCAA Tournaments, including 2009 when the Tigers lost to Georgetown in the Elite Eight.

Hunter hired Kelvin Sampson at UH.

I am confident the hogs can find a coach with no real track record and flashy hashtags.

They will be going after Kelvin Sampson hard. Hopefully Fertitta keeps him in Houston for the conference

The players UH can get from its own backyard, the opportunity to be the big dog in the conference and play in a new arena with a sweet 16 team, should continue the pipeline for UH. Sampson should flirt with Arkansas, but he’d be a fool to go there.

Unless Fajita ( or whatever his name is) throws ungodly money at Sampson, I think he goes to Arkansas. This is not a new flirtation.

Apparently Arkansas' athletic director is good friends with Sampson. Watch out!

I suspect the boosters in Houston will step up and make sure they don't lose a good coach. Unlike our bball boosters who refused to do what was necessary to get rid of a 'loser' coach who refuses to actively recruit and has decimated a program that was once gaining national attention.

I would be very surprised to see Sampson leave, especially for Arkansas. He is winding down his career and setting up his son to succeed him and his daughter works in the UH athletic department as well. Fertita will make sure money is not the issue.

The number I've heard Arkansas is willing to pay is $4 million which would be more than Morris makes. Probably need to open the checkbook because this is a critical hire.

He seems like he’s leaving. That’s crazy money and we probably haven’t shown him the $$ since he’s proven his success.
