Half the folks up here want Cronin to go and half hope he stays. Interesting position for him to be in.

would not mind Cronin coming here next year when we get rid of tankovich. would prefer Pitino Sr. or Jr. but we know that most likely won't happen as our commitment to winning is mediocre at best.

Agree 100% ! However , SMU would be at best a lateral move unless we offered incredible amounts of $$$$$

That's positioning yourself for an upgrade .

One Trick, you're up on sports, so surely you know that tCU was able to argue that 10 million down to just 1 million? Pitt was apparently more than willing to see him go.

TCU is fortunate they had "protection" in Dixon's contract, although it remains to be seen if this might become another JJ/SMU scenario. With TCU being his alma mater, I doubt Dixon will too upset to remain in his current gig, but who knows?

Meanwhile, UCLA is a mess considering the proud history of that program.

There's a difference between can't afford vs. not wanting to spend too much. UCLA isn't broke.

We'll find out for sure when they hire a coach

If you’re a TCU alum, current player or prospect, how do you buy Dixon’s pitch that he loves his job and plans to be around?

So now that Barnes has decided to stay at Tenn and not go to UCLA, any chance they are far enough down their list that Jank gets a look/invite???

Chances are better that they suddenly find the TCU buyout money under some alum's couch.

I'm not one of those, but I will say that if I'm pulling down $3,43,000 per year (that's $9,408 a day) like Dixon does, I would sorta love my job and plan to be around as long as they would have me.

Jeff Goodman
@GoodmanHoops

TCU freshman guard Kendric Davis will transfer, source told @Stadium. Averaged 6.3 points and 2.0 assists in 17 minutes per game this past season.

Unfortunately he may end up at Houston.

He is visiting SMU today. I’d say we have a pretty good chance
