I thought Davis was pretty much a done deal to sit next year?

Dixon almost left, there is a mass exodus at TCU, something smells rotten in Fort Worth.

Things are tough in FW, 3 post season appearances in a row, and we still have to get rid of another kid to make the scholly limit.. things should be so bad in Dallas

Speaking of big time transfers, Houston just scored one...

Kansas transfer Quentin Grimes has committed to Houston, per his Twitter page.

He is expected to file a waiver with the NCAA for immediate eligibility next season, per multiple sources.

Houston is in a great position. They should continue to be relevant.

Another example of how hiring the right coach can make a huge difference

And even more importantly - keeping them.

Since it is now July and we still haven't heard about any attrition I am starting to think that we may just go with what we have.

PG Jolly, Davis
SG McNeil, Bandoumel
SF Mike, Smith IV
PF Hunt, Ray
C Chargois, Jasey

Buried on the bench: McBride, Douglas, White
Walk-on: Young (was originally going to walk on last year and landed a scholarship due to numbers working out in his favor. We may just ask him to pay his way this season and put him back on scholarship once one opens up. Pure speculation on my part.)
Academic scholarship: Cook

Is Cook ok to play basketball?

He doesn't appear to be so the right thing for him and the program is to offer him an academic scholarship and move on.

He can just go on medical retirement. That allows him to stay on scholarship but he is not counted against the maximum allowed. Once declared medical, you may not play again.
