Just saw this via ESPN.
Report: NCAA set to notify Kansas of violations https://es.pn/2VglY4h
via @ESPN App http://espn.com/app

Interesting quote from Coach Self, but not unsurprising..
In an email exchange, "That's how it ur works. At UNC and Duke. Grassnola replied at Kentucky as well."

Go Ponies!

I'm sure NCAA will respond harshly and put SMU on probation to teach Kansas a lesson.

Bill Self is taking a page from the 2019 politician’s playbook: deny, deflect and blame the accusers who are the real villains. Welcome

Self: “By the NCAA's own admission through its public statements early this summer, it's no secret that there is tremendous pressure on the NCAA to respond to the federal court proceedings involving college basketball ... In its haste and attempt to regain control, the enforcement staff has created a false narrative regarding me and our basketball program,"

Mighty rich of him to blame the NCAA when the FBI has the evidence. See, Sean Miller.

Yet, unlike SMU, this is how a school that is serious about having an elite basketball program responds. My guess is that Kansas will avoid sanctions.

I am sure their AD would much rather just get rid of Self and not have to deal with things like this.

Self is connected to Larry Brown, Larry Brown connected to SMU, so it makes sense to blame all of this on SMU..............They will probably put us on probation for 3 years and make us give Jank a 10 year extension.............

Plus Jank is a known Jayhawks fan.

It’s gonna be pretty funny when we put a good team out on the court this year and all the Jank haters line up to give Jank that extension, as if they’d been behind him the whole time.

I say this right now: If he can take these guys and mold them into a team that can go top four in the AAC tourney and either make the NCAA tourney or run to NYC in the NIT he deserves to keep his job.

But if he wins 20-22 with this cupcake schedule and there is no post season? Done.

He’s assembled what looks like a pretty good group. Let’s see more coaching and less excuses please.

I’ll root hard for these guys. I’ve already booked Nashville.
