One more week! I'm anxious to see what this year's team is going to look like. Not sure we will really know by opening night. Still no word on waivers.

Probably waiting to see how the football team does tonight. Win and they deny both. Lose and maybe we get a sympathy waiver...one but not two.

The football team sacrificed itself for the basketball team. The NCAA is on the clock!

Getting excited about the start of hoops season but it certainly appears the NCAA is going to slow play us!

So ready for the start of this season and to see what this year's team will show. Disappointed we will not yet have a complete roster, but plenty of new guys to watch along with enough proven returnees that I'm coming in optimistic this team can at least find 20 wins, especially with the non-conference schedule. I'm not going to fault Jank or Hart for the relatively soft early schedule as it's going to be a challenge figuring out who can play and in what combinations before we get to the AAC schedule. This would not be the year to have a brutal non-conference slate that could totally demoralize this group. Just like football, hopefully those who show up to support this team will hopefully at least get to witness a lot of wins at Moody.

I'll be shocked if Moody is even 25% full with this schedule and team performance last year. Maybe we have a good chance for a well attended game with Georgetown if we actually win games we are suppose to and they do the same...

The 1500 will be there and hopefully will bring some of their friends, but the big question is going to be whether the students come out. Sure hope so, because it shouldn't matter who we are playing. You come out to watch YOUR team and hopefully they will be fun to watch against what should be a less talented opposing team. I hate to see SMU lose the home court advantage we briefly enjoyed.
