Is Shake approaching sixth man of the year type status? So impressed with what he’s doing.

Both Sterling and Semi got starts last night and Sterling had a career night in his 33 minutes in the Rockets' win vs Toronto. He had his 2st career double/double scoring 20 points on 7/10 FGs including 4/7 threes and added 10 rebounds.

Semi also started and played 33 minutes in the Celtics' loss at Memphis. He scored 6 points on 2/5 FGs including 2/3 threes and added 8 rebounds.

Not a bad night for our guys, other than the fact that Semi's Celtics lost and fell a game below .500 on the season

More on Sterling's night:

March 23, 2021 01:32 AM
Rockets' Sterling Brown: Logs first-double-double of season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Brown provided 20 points (7-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot across 34 minutes in Monday's 117-99 win over the Raptors.

Brown's double-double helped vault the Rockets past their 20-game losing skid. He stepped in once again for Victor Oladipo and did an effective job in holding down the fort. Brown has had to contend with Kevin Porter's emergence, who competes with Brown for playing time in the backcourt. Porter tends to get more minutes than Brown, but the team has settled on Porter as a better placeholder for John Wall, while Brown is more suitable as the sub for Oladipo.

and more on Semi's night:

March 23, 2021 02:16 AM
Celtics' Semi Ojeleye: Grabs eight rebounds in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Ojeleye scored six points (2-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and added eight rebounds in a 132-126 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.

With Jayson Tatum (illness) out of the lineup, Ojeleye got the start and played a season-high 33 minutes in the Celtics' overtime loss. The forward wasn't terribly aggressive on offense, but he was able to sink two shots from distance and also helped out on the glass. Ojeleye's playing time hasn't been terribly consistent this season, but he could be in line for another start if Tatum is unable to return to the lineup Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Sterling with another start and scores 16 points in 23 minutes on 6/8 shooting including 4/6 threes. He also had 7 rebounds and the Rockets actually won a road game although it was vs Minnesota

Meanwhile, Semi suffered a hip injury and looks like he might be out for a couple of weeks

Shake had another productive night scoring 16 off the bench in 20 minutes on 6/11 shooting. He also pulled down 4 boards but did turn it over 3 times vs only 1 assist

So nice to think of "the good old days" when we had this level of talent and little Nic running the point

Sterling continues to play well for a horrible Houston team, scoring 16 points in 26 minutes off the bench last night. His shooting stats have been impressive and he went 6/7 last night including 3/3 from three. Now averaging 8.2 pts and 4.6 rebounds. More on last night's performance:

Rockets' Sterling Brown: Scores 16 off bench
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Brown totaled 16 points (6-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 133-130 loss to the Suns on Monday.

Brown came off the bench after starting the previous three games but still contributed a strong offensive performance due to some efficient shooting. The guard has shot the ball extremely well over his last nine games, making 54.2 percent of his attempts from the field and 56.8 percent from three. Over that stretch, Brown is averaging 12.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Sterling was injured in an assault last night in Miami. So glad it sounds like he will be ok.

https://www.click2houston.com/sports/2021/04/19/houston-rockets-sterling-brown-was-the-victim-of-an-assault-on-sunday-night/

The Houston Rockets released a statement that one of their players, Sterling Brown, was the victim of an assault on Sunday evening.

KPRC 2 Sports has been told the incident occurred in Miami, as the Rockets had flown there following their Sunday game in Orlando.

The full Houston Rockets statement reads, “Last night, Sterling Brown was the victim of an assault. He had no prior knowledge of our interaction with the assailants. He suffered facial lacerations but will make a full recovery. Sterling is not playing tonight because of his prior knee injury.”

76ers' Shake Milton: Strong two-way performance
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Milton scored 19 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt) with two rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in a 135-115 victory over the Rockets on Wednesday. Milton scored in double figures for the fifth time in his last eight games and also matched a season-high block total. The guard played almost the entire fourth quarter with Philadelphia having a commanding lead, though he did most of his damage in the first half (12 points). Milton has averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 assists and 2.3 rebounds across his last eight games.

Meanwhile, Sterling Brown remains sidelined with a knee injury and hasn't played since 4/10.

Semi Ojeleye had 7 points and 3 rebounds off the bench in the Celtics blowout win vs Orlando
