I have fond memories of Shake almost single handedly beating Wichita State at their place. Seems like just a distant memory now.

Reading Brown’s comments, I’d empty the bank to rehire him at SMU.

Semi Ojeleye had maybe his best game as a Celtic in their win at Cleveland tonight. He had 22 points on 8-11 shooting including 5-8 threes, 6 boards, 2 assists and a blocked shot in 30 minutes

How the combo of Semi and Shake in Janks hands did not manage to win one NCAA game is the greatest crime of all.

You may ask where those talented USC players that beat our three current NBA players that evening in Tulsa happen to be these days:

Leading scorer for USC, Elijah Stewart is playing for the Helkinki Seagulls, after being released by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and waived by the Wisconsin Herd.

Their other star, Bennie Boatwright, who was second leading scorer vs. SMU, is an inactive member of the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G League.

Also playing that night was Chimezie Metu, who is also in the G League.

Don't forget Sterling too.

Sterling and Ben played with Semi, Shake, Jarrey, and Ben. Sterling, Ben, and Semi left the same year.

I stand corrected on who played with who but to be fair, let's remember that Coach Brown never managed to win a game in the NCAA Tourney with just as good, if not better, a roster as Jank had in that 1st year.

Still wish Larry could have added the NIT Title so he would have had the Triple Crown of Bball Championships. Really thought it was going to happen.

Shake has 20 in 27 minutes last night. He is quickly developing into a legit starter.

Semi got the start in Boston tonight and contributed 9 points and 7 boards in 33 minutes
