Early season TV coverage is trash

I can understand why the Jackson State game had no TV coverage.

Next up - Evansville. This looks like a challenging road game for SMU. Not even ESPN3 worthy. Have to go buy an ESPN+ streaming subscription to see this one.

After that - UNLV - I was looking forward to watching this one as well - is this game really not going to be on any TV? Are Mountain West games not televised?

Even SMU soccer is getting ESPN3 these days...

MWC has a terrible contract so it'll probably be on Facebook.

Our new contract will have most of our games on ESPN+ until we replace Jank so might as well get the Disney+ bundle.

Good teams get ESPN and CNSNN, bad ones get the + as espn 3 is being phased out.

Bad schedule;
Bad back to back seasons;
Fans negative view of the coach;
Fans disinterest of the team;

I haven't watched a game yet.

Had no problem with ESPN+, but have to agree the high school kids were not the best announcers I have heard.

Agree - we soon forget the days of streaming games from fuzzy arena cams with no screen information or announcers. The streams wouldn't start until partway through the first half when the provider received multiple calls/chat messages and figured out which network cable was loose.

I thought one announcer last night was female until they showed them at halftime. Until we hit top 25, we won't see the top talent. (Yes there is a double entendre in there)

I thought the same thing! Glad it wasn't just me!
