Looks like a different team

Nice first Half,

Team looked really good, Davis made a big difference.

Stadium on air was not showing the game, hooked Facebook up on the big screen. Great feed, the on screen score and time is spotty, but hey, no commercials, these announcers go off on a tangent, they show stuff on the screen, talk about, well, I am not really sure. All I know is we voted on the best Film shot in Las Vegas,

I kinda Like it!

We relied on the 3 too much in the second half and didn’t take the ball inside and get free throws. But I though we looked really lively and we have some flair when we want it!

First of all,

Those announcers were AWESOME.

They talked random stuff, but it somehow always came back to the game.

Who can't love coming down the stretch, the lady announcer talking about her keys getting stolen, then wondering about the point spread.

Great moments, UNLV player flops on a foul trying to get an intentional, was denied, they chide him on it, then he misses the first free throw. Announcers comment "well, he deserved to miss that free throw after that flop".

Then on Kendric Davis, near quote, "He got a chance to get out of TCU and go to a great school like SMU"

From the actual game, Davis was a game changer. Mike cannot get in foul trouble, he is our man, he needs to stay on the court. Hunt is a high flying athlete that cannot be contained.

Good win, good fun, I wish all our games could be on facebook!

Concerning that once again, very little scoring or contributions from our bench players - 6 points in 42 minutes. Bandy did pick up 4 fouls.

Agreed. The announcers came across a three friends calling a basketball game while having cocktails after work. Probably not for everyone, but they were a refreshing change from some of the contrived comraderie betwen a lot of play by play guys and their color commentators. I will say that they mistakenly assumed that we had the game wrapped up with a little over a minute to go. I also think that if we had lost the game we would have thought the announcers less charming.

I was not able to see the game. Just looking at the stats, it looks like Kendric replaced Jolly’s scoring. Or did Jolly just coincidentally have his first off night, offensively?

Is this game available for replay?

A tip of the hat to the pride of the SUNY Stony Brook Seawolves: Dani Klupenger. Best SB alum since members of the Blue Oyster Cult.
