SMU - Houston Predictions?

Really interesting game tonight. Both teams run an efficient offense and hit the offensive glass really hard. Meaning a lot of second chances, and a lot of fast break opportunities.

We are going to either show up pissed about ECU and play defense the entire game. Or we are going to start the game timid and get blown out of the gym.

I think Houston pulls away late due to some defensive lapses and offensive rebounds. 85-76.

We will need to find a way to hold them under 70 to win, IMHO.

Need sharp 3 point shooting to win. UH is also mad after a close road loss.

Guard play will be fun to watch. Hinton/Grimes/Mills vs. Jolly/Davis

Last SMU win was a 76-66 victory in Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston on Feb. 18, 2017.
• Series dates back to March 16, 1956, with an 89-74 SMU win during the NCAA Tournament Midwest Region First Round in Lawrence, Kan.

Captain Obvious - Boy do we to win after ecu. We should have been driving the basket the last 3-4 minutes.

I tend to agree with Jason's assessment but I keep hoping that some night this SMU team is going to come out like Georgetown did against us...hitting just about every shot they throw up until the home team is completely demoralized. I want that night to come against a good team on the road, so Houston would be a good choice.

That was the first half against USF and UCF at home... we just tend to have that level of play for one half.
