What an incredible second half. This team has talent but it is handicapped by the HC. I hope we keep Jolly next season under the new coach.

We’ll go as far as Jolly can carry us. He’s been MIA the last few games. Great to see him step up again.

Yep. He has really struggled since the start of conference play but the light came on in the second half last night. That was as good of a half I’ve seen an SMU player have since Shake a couple of years ago at Wichita St.

I don't know a whole lot about basketball or coaching so could you enlighten me on how Jank is handicapping the team? How would you do it differently? Thanks

Larry Brown would train the players to pass more fluidly, make better decisions with continuous passing until we find the open man. This team plays too often for the highlight reel and too often launches a three pointer without even thinking about it and without being open or trying to make a play. Additionally we are around last in the conference in defense which in great part is due to lack of effort which is coachable based on substitution patterns. If there is no one else to put in the game because of a talent drop off, well then that is also on the coaching staff.
