That Mob sign should be removed (or add RIP). It's over. Embarrassing to see it on TV.

It's on hold. Still there.

And someone saying that SMU fans aren't good basketball fans has already forgotten Moody Magic. Ain't nobody better when the conditions are right. We need to go balls to the wall to get that back.

Who would you attribute the basketball fundraising and upgrades to? Rick Hart, RGT, Cheves, Larry Brown or simply Miller’s love of the game.

I gave up my tickets this year. Haven’t been to a game. That happens when they try to pry an extra $2k from me with a subpar product on the court.

I’ll be back, but the reseat pissed me off.

Caballo wrote:I gave up my season tickets due to the reseat. Prior to that my son and I rarely missed a game, maybe three in four years. And it was easy to give tickets away to those games we didn't attend.

While it has been some time since the reseat, I can't help but think that is a major component of fan apathy. Not the only thing, but a major thing. I wonder how season ticket sales will progress for next year if this keeps up.

As I saw it, new Moody and LB and results built a basketball fan base. When it looked like a happening thing then the non-basketball football season ticket holders and big donors didn't like not having tickets or the ones they wanted. So reseat and what to you get, chase the basketball fans away that made new Moody the atmosphere that it was but hopefully the football fans and scene chasers are happy, but of course they aren't because Moody is not what it was.

There were lots of good seats available for anyone who wanted to pay up. Even days before the season began.

I have a broad reach of acquaintances from SMU all over the state and it wasn't just on this board or what we think , people didn't like the way they were treated definitely impacted sales.

My assumptions on full circle and I agree with those who have stated as well:

1) Coach is not salesman and needs to be here
2) OOC schedule was so weak that it requires us to go undefeated to get buzz. It didn't happen.
3) Re-seat absolutely killed it from the get-go
4) Miller doesn't have enough money to run the whole program efficiently. He has to wait for the contract to run out. You know he's praying that a team foolishly comes looking for Jank.
5) Coach that generally gets outcoached.

Combine all of that and you get this disaster.

Well you know I love you but you're wrong on Miller he can do whatever he wants has the money to knock everybody's face in the dirt
